About the Artist

30+ year Tucson, AZ Transplant, Brett is employed in the IT field as a Systems Administrator and enjoys painting as a hobby and release.  Born in State College, PA, Brett was an avid sketch artist and illustrator while growing up, and built upon those interests further in college by studying illustration and graphic design.  While his career developed in more technical directions, Brett had the opportunity to re-discover his love of art in the form of pure expression, when he was introduced to the Fractalage style of painting by its creator Derek K. Nielsen.  Brett's involvement in the Fractalage movement has initiated self-discovery and spiritual growth through expression, which he hopes can serve to benefit all who may appreciate the fruits thereof.  Brett's work has been displayed locally within the Historic Hotel Congress, as well as in Sedona, AZ.  If you wish to contact Brett regarding any of the pieces displayed here, or for general questions about the style, please follow the link in the navigation bar above at any time.
